This is near the end of my stay, probably June or July 1965.The morning after the squadron arrived with VMFA-513 in April the cooks treated us to steak. i don't care what anyone says Marine cooks turned out some down right good chow under some very trying conditions every where I was stationed.
weaponschic462 > House in Da Nang neighborhood. I took this picture while touring outside of downtown Da Nang by myself, in uniform. Not very bright. But at the time there wasn't much going on. In reflection I was very lucky not to have disappeared, mysteriously.
